UP FOR SALE IS MY INCOMPLETE 1938 PLYMOUTH BUSINESS COUPE. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CAR IS NOT FINISHED. BELOW I WILL EXPLICITLY STATE WHAT IS DONE, WITH WHAT PARTS, ALONG WITH WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO COMPLETE. I ALSO WILL LIST ALL PARTS THAT I HAVE ON HAND THAT GO WITH THIS SALE. Unfortunately, I will not be able to finish this project. I’m sure someone will get this great car to finish as a GASSER, RAT ROD, or just a very rare cool every day driver. I always built my cars to be driven anywhere, anytime. This car will be sold with a New York State Transferable registration from owner I purchased. It does not have a New Jersey Title. WORK THAT IS COMPLETED BODY--- The original body was in fair condition. I had to purchase rear corners, rear valance, front of rear wheel opening patch panels, and fabricate lower door panels. The interior floor were pretty good, had make minor patch. As you can see in pictures the body right now is in Eastwood filler prime on top of epoxy base primer, THE BODY NEEDS HAVE FINAL FILLER WORK AND SANDING. You will see pictures of all the additional parts that come with car as part sale. GLASS----- I have original glass that can be used as templates for new flat glass. There was no windshield when I got car. The glass is readily available. STEERING----- The original steering shaft and box were replaced with new tilt GM steering column, reverse Corvair steering box, quality D rod and universals. New king pin load bearing, and drag link from Speedyway. I have a Mustang STEERING Wheel pictured in parts. BRAKES---- The brake system is completely new all components. Power booster from Charger with proportional valve, new rotors, new caliper, new SS braided lines, new rear shoes and cylinders, all new solid lines, a line lock valve installed at shifter support. THERE IS NO EMERGENCY BRAKE CABLES OR SET UP; this car had trans drum brake. Fuel----- A new Plastic model correct fuel tank, new sender, new holley fuel pump, and new fuel lines. COOLING---- A new Hot Rod down flow radiator with electric fan. No hoses installed. The fan relay kit is included but not installed. The trans cooler lines are installed. ELETRICAL--- There is no wiring done to this car, haven’t got to it. The head lights and tail lights are installed. There are no instrument gauges included. ENGINE and TRANSMISSION-----The engine is 360ci magnum with 518 Transmission with OD. The engine is from one of my trucks I took care of since new. The engine and trans are a matched pair since they left the factory. I removed the beer barrel injection. A new Pro-Comp air gap intake, new 650 cfm edlebrock, new distributor and coil, new wirers, new alternator, new water pump, new tensioner, new oil pan, new jeep cast valve covers, new Dakota Headers, new starter, and new SPEEDWAY motor mount bracket and new A body motor isolators. EXHUAST--- New dual 2.5 clone series 40 from summit racing. The tips are tandem through the rear valance. The new tips from Roush Racing. SHIFTER---- A new Hurst ratchet shifter, new kick-down cable installed. DIFFERENTIAL----- The rear housings is a B body housing with 2.76 open center section, 4.5 bolt wheel bolt circle Front & Rear. Springs were redone by Perth Amboy Spring. Additional leafs installed. I have new drive shaft that must be cut to length that is pictured in parts. TIRES---- Are good for rolling around dry rotted. NG INTERIOR---- I have [2] new orange racing seats that have not been installed. They recline and have sliders. They NEED TO have installation brackets fabricated. I have the original headliner bows. Other than that there is no interior finish panels.WINDOW FRAME GARNISH-----All the window garnish is in perfect condition. Right now they are hammer painted matching dash frame. THIS CAR DOES NOT RUN HAS NOT BEEN WIRED, OR DRIVE SHAFT FOR START UP. MOTOR IS READY TO GO JUST NEEDS WIRING. I PLANNED ON INSTALLING BATTERY IN TRUNK. I SAVED ALL THE ORIGINAL FRONT SHEET METAL AND BRACKETS. THE FRONT FENDERS ARE ROUGH, BUT CAN BE SAVED. I TRIED TO BE AS IMFORMATIVE AS POSSIBLE. IF YOU HAVE ANY ADDITIONAL QUESTION PLEASE ASK.
