Purchase is AS-IS. The jeep was purchased from CarMax (Sacramento) in 2002 and had 35,000 miles on it at that time. Most of the next 100,000 miles were highway miles. Oil changes about every $8K miles. Jeep runs well, and the interior is in almost excellent shape. A few physical blemishes have not been fixed. The reason for the salvage title is because the jeep was in an accident on an icy day and the cost to correct all of the body work exceeded the current blue book value. The accident involved only body repairs (and one tire), no engine involvement; all necessary repairs were made at the time in order to ensure the safety for continued driving of the vehicle.
