For sale is a survivor 1993 Honda Del Sol S (5 speed), the car was purchased by a Ms. J Bennett (a good friend) from Ray Fladeboe Honda in Irvine California in March 1993, shortly after taking delivery of the car my friend was diagnosed with an illness that restricted her ability to drive the car as much as she would have normally which explains the very low 41939 mileage. My friend is very organized and kept all of the original documentation that came with the car (excluding the lost window sicker, such a shame) which includes everything from the pre-delivery inspection sheet to all of the booklets and pamphlets, the original sales contract, the original 1993 sales brochure and even the congratulation / welcome letter from Honda. The service history on this car is complete and very extensive and includes every receipt and service record from day one to when I purchased the vehicle from her in May this year, my friend was sad to sell the car but it was getting to the point where she would not drive it for months at a time so she knew that her baby had to go, I paid my friend much more than blue book value for her car and then I proceeded to spend a further $2819 to fully service it and bring it back to its former glory, I obviously kept all of those receipts also and added them to all of the other receipts that my friend had collected over the last 20 years. As you would expect in a Honda with such low mileage the engine runs perfect and uses no oil at all, I have covered 2700 miles since purchasing the car and the oil level is still at the same point it was when it was changed back in May, the gearbox is smooth with a very light clutch and the brakes are excellent, it has also been fully serviced including all oils and filters, new tires, new battery, new shocks and springs, all suspension bushes replaced, new tie rods and ball joints, serviced a/c and much more. The paint is original and in excellent condition and it’s very smooth and shiny, truly amazing for a 20 year old car, the car did have some minor door dings when I purchased it so I had them professionally removed. The interior is all original and in excellent condition, the dash had a cover on it (I removed it, but I still have it), the carpets have had mats on them from day one and the seats look brand new with no sign of wear at all, truly amazing.
