In 1993, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering of Birghton, Michigan used this Corvette for a special one-off project. Featuring a 406 Ci small block V8 with SB2 Heads and a Ligenfelter Ram Box, this project brought the car to a staggering 570 hp. The naturally aspirated engine has more horsepower than a modern Z06! Lingenfelter also fitted the car with the large Z51 brake package, helping it to stop all that horsepower on a dime. The project was documented in the July, 1993 issue of Corvette magazine, making this car a part of both Corvette and Lingenfelter history.
