Up for auction is this beautiful 1961 DeSoto Adventurer Coupe. Overall vehicle condition is very good. I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle, the vehicle that I know of originated in Texas. I do not have any paperwork other than than the title. The car drives and handles great. I just had it fully tuned, oil change and carburetor rebuilt. There are no leaks to speak of. That I am aware of the vehicle is in it's original condition, with no modifications. The vehicle has 23,702 miles believe to be original. I have personally put less than 300 miles since owning it. lets get to the facts.Exterior The car is straight with no dents other than the above mentioned condition description. The car is split red/white, the thought being the car was white at one time and the red was added. I have talked to boy shops that thought the vehicle was correct as seen in pics. Chrome is in good condition other than the pitting in areas and some minor surface rust. Some paint chipping in rear plate area visible in pics. Trim is in excellent condition no dings dents or missing pieces. Glass is excellent, no cracks or chips. No heavy undercoating on this car as you can see in pics. The car could use a new exhaust system. Tires in good shape. All lights working.InteriorAs you can see in the pics the interior is in excellent condition. Headliner as a few spots nothing that stands out. The carpet is very good with no significant waring. Dash pad has some minor warping. All instrumentation working with the exception of gas gauge. Radio in working condition. Air Conditioning works. All power windows. Interior lights, turn signals all in working order. EngineAs mentioned above I have had the engine fully tuned, oil changed and a complete rebuild of the Carburetor. The car runs great, has good pick up no knocking, ticking. Radiator in good order no leaks. Trans shifts properly.Should you have questions please ask I will answer to best of my ability regarding the car.
