IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY FEEDBACK, YOUR BID WILL BE CANCELLED <<< 1983 BMW 320i coupe, black exterior, tan cloth interior, 3-speed automatic, A/C, only 147k original miles. Clean title, 100% original California car with vintage plates. Car history: I bought the car in 2010 through a local seller on eBay with 135k and the car now has 147k, clean title, original California car down to the plates. I have the original manual and the entire tool set is in tact. The car is as original as it can get, down to all the BMW German factory stickers on the car (there is a break in period sticker still on the windshield). I just smogged and registered the car a couple of months ago, and it passed perfectly. Maintenance: I have changed the oil regularly, changed the front brake pads, air filter and a new battery. I have a bunch of various fuses and bulbs (factory) that come with the car, as well as the original manual, jack/tools, and BMW factory tool kit. BWM spare wheel is also there. Interior: Good shape, driver seat has a pretty worn hole and should be reupholstered or covered, small tears and stains here and there. A/C still works perfectly and blows cold. All instruments work except for hazard switch and power mirror switch. Still has original BMW tape deck. Engine: All original M10 engine, runs perfect and doesn't burn oil or overheat. Auto transmission shifts nice and smooth. Body: No rust that I can see, small dings her and there, all windows are original and there are no cracks or chips. Car has an Inno roof rack system with two bike trays. All lights work (one foglight needs a new bulb), wheels are in good shape with lots of life on the tires and no damage to the rims. Cons: The car is 30 years old, it has some small issues, but they do not inhibit it from being driven. There is an oil leak when the car is parked, looks like it's coming from the oil pan and more than likely it is the oil pan gasket. Car needs alignment. Brakes work, but the master cylinder needs to be replaced so the pedal goes down pretty far right now. Still driveable but I would replace it. Trunk lock sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. The sunroof crank doesn't seem to work, so I just don't use it (this is a common problem). I have done my best to describe everything known with the car. It is a great little car, and with some TLC can be made perfect. It is a head-turner that gets a lot of compliments and I am sad I have to sell it, but family is growing so it must go. Will ship at buyers expense.
