Vehicle Detail
Up for grabs a 2012 Triumph Street Triple, 675 CC. It has been on the road since July 2012. It has not been modified in any way, except that I purchased it with a center stand - makes it easy to lube the chain or park it in a tight space. At the time the listing is submitted, the bike has 7039 miles. The bike runs great, except during the first 15 minutes into the ride, the clutch doesn't separate right away when the handle is pulled. I overcome this issue by gently revving up the engine. The engine starts immediately, thanks to the fuel injection, even in the dead of the winter when temperatures are way below freezing. It has never been dropped and has no scratches. Nevertheless, it's not in showroom condition. The exhaust pipes aren't as shiny as they were last year when the bike was new - see the pictures. I sell it due to health issues. I'm the original owner and sole rider. And Yes - it's no mistake - starting price is just $100 and no reserve! Be the sole bidder and this beast is yours for $100! I'm not crazy - just need to sell it for reasons beyond my control. My original plans were to keep it till 2017. Also included are: Owner's ManualRiding Tips bookletManufacturer's Warranty - in effect till July 2014Three keysCopies of maintenance recordsClear title"Parts" - I purchased the bike with a center stand, so the dealer gave me the parts that were removed in order to make room for it - take them or leave themChain oil - leftovers in a form of a can with enough oil to last you for a while - take it or leave itS 100 cleaning liquid - leftovers - take it or leave itCargo net - doesn't work very well with this bike, but I have no use for it - take it or leave itHelmet - a 20 years old, which had known better days. You may find it useful if you fly from somewhere to pick up the bike and don't want to schlepp one on the plane - take it or leave itPayment: Pay $100 by PayPal within 24 hours after auction's close. Pay the balance by cash (if you pick up the bike yourself), or by check, if a shipper will pick up the bike. If paying by check, it must be drawn by a bank with a branch in Rockville or Bethesda, Maryland. (The intention is to cash the check and avoid waiting for it to clear.) Tag and registration are excluded. If you're a Maryland resident, I'll help you with taking it for State inspection. You'll pay for the inspection, I'll pay for any repairs in the unlikely event that the inspector has found anything wrong. After that, I'll bring the bike to the MVA (either the one in Gaithersburg or the one in White Oak). If you live in any other state, you'll have to figure out how to get a temporary tag. Some states may require just a Bill of Sale for that. Bring along that state's Bill of Sale.
