1996 GMC Savana Explorer High Top Conversion Van. This was my everyday driver until the transmission started slipping and eventually gave out. It has been parked inside since December of last year and regretfully I've finally decided to sell it rather than repair it. The van has about 178K on it and has always been a pleasure to drive. Last year I had a complete tune-up done on it, re-charged the AC and replaced the rear shocks. Most of the mileage came from yearly family vacations to South Carolina. It does use a little oil...about a half quart every 3k miles. The interior is in very good condition with the exception of the driver's side armrest/and pass. power seat which will need repair. The body is in good condition with minor rust staring on the rear fenderwell area. The plastic cladding has usual cracks and fading due to the age of the vehicle. I planned on repairing it and use it strictly for vacations, but have since purchased an Astro van and no longer need it. If you have any question, please contact me. This is a no reserve auction!
