Vehicle Detail

This is a 1971 GMC Jimmy CST Automatic, 4x4, V-8 350CID, 4Barel 600 cfm holey carburetor. It comes with factory a/c, tachometer, power steering, power brakes, front rotors, front buckets and rear bench. I bought this truck over two years ago with the intent to completely restore back to original. When I bought it, it was not running it had troubles with the fuel delivery system (after market fuel injection) I took it off and installed a Holley carb and it fired right up. The next thing I did was a complete brake job that included new brake pads rotors and master cylinder. The suspension received new tie rod ends new shock absorbers. The chassis to body mounts from bumper to bumper were replaced with new energy suspension urethane bushings. Both front seats were replaced with a couple of leather power heated seats from a 2004 Tahoe. I l have both original factory seats that need to be re-upholstered. All fluids and filters were replaced. The condition of the truck is good for a 40+ year old truck. The paint seems to be the original and I don’t see any sign of major damage anywhere. There is little rust under the doors, the floors seem fine. It has the original 8 track radio that works. The doors have not been cut. The convertible top is the thick insulated two sided kind. All gauges work. The motor transmission and transfer case work fine. The tires are old and need to be replaced. The carburetor needs to be tuned. This truck is a solid investment that can only go up in value. I drove it all summer of 2012 and was very happy with it. I have other plans in my life at the moment and it is time for someone else to enjoy it. The truck is located in El Paso TX and must be picked up in 10 days after auction ends. Inspections are welcomed. It has a free and clear title. I am a licensed car dealer in the state of Texas and will provide all necessary paper work for you to transfer to your name. No! zero feedback bidders please. $500.00 Deposit is expected 24hrs after winning the auction. I have gotten many questions as far as rust goes. All I see is surface rust and on the floors I don't believe these need to be replaced. Thanks
