For sale is my 1930 Ford Model A Standard Roadster, Model 40-B. This is a clean, straight original with new paint and interior. The motor is the original and I have not overhauled it. I did replace the timing gear and replace the oil pan gasket and fixed the distributor wire and installed new radiator hoses. The radiator was recored and a new water pump installed just before I bought it. I installed new brakes and adjusted them so they function as they should. It has 4 new Goodyear tires with new tubes and metal valve stems. The spare tire is new but is old and weather checked. I replaced the coil, but that was not the problem. The original coil is included and works fine. When I say original I mean the part came on this car. The horn, headlights, tail light, door and trunk handles are all original. The plating is showing wear but not bad for their age. The body and fenders had no rust out anywhere. There was some dents in the fenders with filler. I took most out and bumped the dents before painting. The paint is not show but looks good. I installed a new interior and top. Now the needs. It needs the package shelf for the seat back, needs a new windshield rubber, probably a new windshield as I don't think this one is safety glass, needs a windshield wiper (I don't have one). It does have a old clock mirror (clock works) The engine runs fair. It is not as quiet as a newly overhauled but I have driven it about 2000 miles without any problem. It does leak oil from the front. I did a compression check and one cylinder was 15 lbs. low. The best thing would be to come and inspect it before making any commitment. This was a local car and was purchased new by a man that live about 20 miles from here. The odometer reading of 29,000 is showing, but the odometer doesn't work. Speedometer works fine. The seal is still on the back of the speedometer. I do not know the exact mileage.
