Up for auction is a very rare 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2 "A" Code 289 mated to a cruise-o-matic transmission, which appears to be original to the car. This car is loaded up with options including power steering, power brakes, tinted glass, and a center console. The original holley 4bbl is still on the intake. I recently purchased this car from an owner of over 20 years. It originally came from Long Island NY. it is currently showing around 53K miles. THERE IS NO DOOR TAG ON THIS CAR BUT THE VIN IS STAMPED IN THE PASSENGER SIDE APRON (SOLD WITH BILL OF SALE ONLY, I CAN GET PAPERWORK FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE) OPTIMA BATTERY NOT INCLUDED. Finding these fastbacks in original unmolested condition is nearly impossible, don't pass this opportunity up. The engine is currently locked up. I haven't tried to free it up by any means. With some oil down the cylinders and some persuasion i'm sure it can be worked free. The transmission goes into gear just fine and the car rolls very easy. The car had OEM quarters put on a long time ago. The car definitely needs a drivers door, quarter work, hood, fender, some floor pan work and some trunk work. The pictures are very indicative of the condition, it's rusty but totally complete and unmolested. ALL the glass is original and in excellent shape. Headlights, parking lights, tail lights, and wipers do work with a good battery. although this fastback is a total restoration project it is ALL there and ready to be resurrected. Located in Marcy, NY
