FOR SALE: 1963 Buick Skylark 2dr hardtop in Teal Mist Poly with white top, and blue interior, 215 ci./ 200 h.p. aluminum V8 with 4 bbl. carb., automatic transmission, radial tires with full wheel covers, and more. The Buick has 61k original miles and has been nicely stored in a garage for 20 years. The 215 V8 has been run recently with the last 6 months and will still need a good tuning and fuel pump for it to be completely operational. A new Battery, Coil, have been added and the original Carburetor was just rebuilt about 6 months ago. The Transmission shifts well and was observed to show no signs of leaking, premature wear or damage. The transmission fluid looks clean and free of burn smell. The Skylark also boasts power steering, power brakes and the exhaust was observed to be solid. Cosmetically, the body has no visible rust or rust holes in the body panels. The original paint is in fair to good condition; it would only require a paint job for a full restoration or could be used as is for a driver car as is. Also their is one small dent on the forward lower portion of the drivers fender. The color is a blue/green with white top (not vinyl). All of the chrome is present and most can be polished but some may need to be redone because of the car sitting for so many years. The Trunk was observed to be solid and the gas tank is solid but could use a cleaning for good measure. All of the cars floor pans are solid and the interior is in good condition except for on minor hole in the headliner. In my opinion the headliner could be fixed versus replacing but that’s up to how far the restoration goes. All parts for the car are present and includes the original manual and been in the same family since new. To get this skylark on the road the car will most likely need new brakes, tires, U joints, and any other typical maintenance items associated with a car sitting for so long.
