Honda 1968 CT Trail 90 This bike is in very good condition. The paint and chrome look good and it runs great. There are some scratches that would be expected from a 45 year old bike. Nothing major. It has been stored indoors since 1969. It has 1569 original miles. Everything works. Speedometer, headlight, brake light, indicator lights, and the throttle snaps back. High and low trans has no problems. It shifts through 4 gears in both high and low smoothly. It has the RS rectifier installed. New battery, gas tank is clean, carb is clean, new throttle cable and new seat cover. While the front and back brakes work great, I would suggest the back brake cable eventually be replaced. The rear foot brake works better than the rear hand brake. The indicator lights do not have original bulbs in them but they work just fine. I replaced them with bulbs bought from a local store. The tires are original and while they seem to be in good condition they are old and for safety they should be considered for replacement. They both hold air but with changes in temp the back tire sometimes needs to be inflated. Just this week I noticed a very slow leak from the gasket behind the sub trans. I have an unopened complete gasket kit that will come with the bike. The leak is so small I couldn’t get a pic of it. I may try to replace the gasket before the conclusion of the auction but I can’t promise it will be done. I am trying to mention anything and everything that may be of interest to a potential buyer.
