1972 Chevrolet C10 SWB Fleetside (wide bed) V8 Auto Driver showing 22,107 miles on the odometer (listed as 122,107) offered by Gas Monkey Garage. A new , more modern look was introduced on the second generation C10 truck in 1967. Chevy continued to improve and evolve their design each year with more comfort features and styling in what was originally a utility vehicle meant for working hard, America was also now playing hard in their pick up trucks! This very good example was built a few years ago with a Small Block Chevy 350 w/ an Edelbrock intake manifold & Holley 600 carb,GM HEI distributor exhausting through Jet Hot coated exhaust manifolds into a custom Flowmaster dual exhaust system. Power transmits through a 700R4 Automatic Transmission to 8.0x17 Rally Wheels & Michelin tires (2 of the rims have repairable damage but will need new tires) riding on 4.5” drop spindles up front & 5.0” lowered rear axle with power disc brakes & power steering w/ a Tilt Steering column. A new Radiator & alternator were installed at the same time for reliability-less than 5,000 miles total on drivetrain. The Truck was painted at some time in the past & as a driver is starting to show its age(there is some damage to the left side of the bed-see all pics).
