Year 1991 Make Suzuki Model GSXR750 Mileage 6898 Contact Info Texy only 972-357-6094 be more happy to send more pics or info This is an original Team Hammer/Team Valvoline Suzuki GSXR750 750 Super Sport bike. This is a piece of road racing history you can own and now legally ride. I have been in contact with Team Hammer's owner John Ulrich and this bike's rider, Michael Martin and validated its authenticity. In 92' the 2nd owner road raced it as a privateer for 8 races, then decided to build it into a "Show Bike" and then showed the bike across the country for several years where it won trophies every where. This bike is now ready to ride I have actually just put about 200 miles on it myself. The engine was built right before the 91' Road Atlanta road race in which it placed 2nd behind Scott Russell on a ZX7R. The engine dynoed 116rwhp back in 92'. This is a pump gas, 771 cc engine built by Race Engine Service. Ported head, degree'd stock cams, 38mm Mikunis BST38SS carbs. WAY too many custom, one off built race parts to list here, call me for the full details. (See the spec sheet below) I just got this bike from a buddy of mine. This bike was the 1991 750cc class champion and raced in the WERA series. It was raced by Michael Martin and Team Valvoline Suzuki(aka. Team Hammer) all through 91....then sold at the end of that season. LOTs of custom race parts and 1 off built stuff.....also a lot of Yoshimura factory race parts. Crazy stuff on it considering it was built/raced 20 yrs ago. I did a compression test on it recently and they were 170, 165, 170, 155 PSI After the 1991 750 Super Sport Road Atlanta race, Cam Mason purchased this 750 from Team Hammer/Michael Martin with a fresh 771cc motor with only the Road Atlanta race mileage on it. He purchased the bike for $8k and Team Hammer delivered it to him at his house in Dallas with their Team Valvoline Suzuki big rig. Cam Mason raced the bike 6-8 times in 92' then decided to build the bike into a show bike. He did ride it about 2600 miles on the street before/during/after the show build. He street raced the bike a lot in 93-94' and said to have spanked a lot of 1100s. He showed the bike in dozens of shows until he sold it in the early 2000s. To the best of his knowledge, this is what Richard Martin told him was in the motor: Race Engine Service built: 1 mm over pistons (771cc) which was legal for 750 SS class Ported and milled head Possibly some Yosh stg 1 cams (or some kind of custom ground cams) Mikuni RS flat slides(not currently on the bike) When Cam got the bike, he dynoed it at Sabin Performance in Dallas and it made 116rwhp. (Keep in mind this is 1992....that is what 1100s made then). After all of his chassis mods and lightening, he put the bike on a certified scale and it weighed 385lbs full of fuel. After a decade of ownership, Cam decided to sell the bike. He sold it to a wealthy Restauranteur / Hot Rod shop owner who paid $15k for it in the early 2000s. He used the bike for decor in his Hot rod shop until Dec 2007. Then it was sold on ebay for an undisclosed amount. Pretty cool stuff. Very nice bike. I bought it to restore it and have a pretty cool conversational piece but due to work I never have time to start on it. I've just rode it around and to see what it really had. Very fast bike kept up with buddy's 2002 Yamaha R1 Please look at pictures there's a few blemishes but runs and drives great
