I bought this ford from the previous owner who drove it about 40 miles back and forth to his work almost daily. He had a situation come up where he needed money fast and called me knowing that I collect classic trucks. I drove it home after buying it ,about 60 miles to my home in rural waukon iowa, and stored it for the winter in our heated garage. This spring, I had the truck painted the factory two tone color scheme and used it in local area parades as advertising for my car lot. The parade season has now ended so we are selling it. The engine runs great, and It drives 60 mph like a dream. The rare 4 speed on the floor shifts the way it should. the 4 speed shift on the floor was a special order from the factory and the extra 4 th gear makes the truck really cruise at freeway speed compared to the standard three speed transmission. The brakes work great. The speedmeter , temp guage ,and fuel guage work. exhaust was a little louder but nothing too crazy. This truck is ready to be your daily driver or used for road cruises in your car club. Turn the key and this truck fires right up. The seat has a seat cover over the original seat as the cloth has pulled apart at the seam. The truck turns heads with thumbs up everywhere we took it. It really has a sharp look with the black and white color scheme. The glass looks good as pics show and the radio is working. Last fall he started to restore the truck before I got it and and he went as far as prepping the body for paint and put the truck in gray primer. He said the truck did not have much rust when he readied the truck in primer but did use some minor filler in some spots. The center nose chrome piece has some flaws (as pictured) but it is complete. I pictured any blemish or flaw I saw on the truck. This truck comes with a clean and clear wisconsin title ready to go. I was very impressed on how this truck drove! You can either leave it the way it is and enjoy it as a daily driver, or take it to the next level and make it a show truck. I do not want to overcall this truck or undercall it, let the hd video, pictures, and description tell the story. I require a 500 dollar nonrefundable paypal deposit within 24 hours of auction end.
