Hi, I have for sale a 2002 BMW K1200 LT, body is in fair condition, was dropped by previous owner, left and right engine guard covers are cracked-but intact and solid-they don't affect performance, needs front and rear brake pads, and rear rotor-common for this bike, it will probably need shocks upgraded-especially if you plan on using it for 2 up touring, previous owner installed a throttle cable which works fine but it needs to be adjusted as the cruise control does not function as a result - now the good - engine runs really nice and strong, no leaks or noises whatsoever, transmission shifts nice and smooth, final drive has no leaks or play in the rear wheel. Has working heated grips, after market Z technic extended windshield, reverse works perfect. Brand new Metzler tires front and back, fresh oil change, transmission fluid and final drive fluid. I have been riding it on the highway to work 60 mile round trip. Reason for selling is that the bike is too top heavy for me and I don't feel comfortable with a slow speed manuevering in parking lots and slow speeds, so I decided to sell it before putting any more money into it. This is a really nice riding bike and it would be a great buy for someone who is mechanically inclined to service the bike. As a payment, I would prefer dealing with cash in hand, but, would consider bank certified check, but check from a reputable bank. Check will have to clear before title will be released.
