1965 FORD G A L A X I E 5 0 0 convertible . This G A L A X I E 500 convertible has been in a storage wearhouse in Tuscon Arizona for the past 35 years as part of a retired doctors personal collection. and has less than 35.000 original miles on her. Car came new as a special order from the factory with the THUNDERBIRD SPECIAL performance package which included the 390 cid / 330 hp 4bbl big block V8, early1965 factory air conditioning , that blows cold with the top down, power steering , power soft top , and very rare ( eye poping ) bright red interior with bright rangoon red exterior color combination WOW ! exellent mecanical condition , Never any rust, the glass ,crome and stainless are all in exellent condition as is the interior , exterior and paint. Fits the whole family in comfort and style.This is a very fast and smooth running american icon that runs and drives like the day it rolled off the assembly line. drive anywhere all day everyday. This car was used by its previous owner to drive his grand kids on site seeing tours of the Tuscon Arizona desert and he kept the car extreamly well mantained over the past 35 years to insure that he would not have any trouble, out in the middle of no where .This car has been well cared for . The dash board is completly padded , only a very few came in 65 with this factory option and had to be specialy ordered. this dash has undergone a very nice cosmetic restoration to freshen it up a bit. The car has been gone threw mecanicaly and every thing is in top notch shape. has new tires and new soft top The AC unit is ford factory original , mid and late 65 galaxies had the AC built into the dash , and the early 65 cars had the one pictured . we can help ship anywhere . The red on red color combination is beautiful and really stands out in the market place above other galaxie interior colors ,the light blue or light green interior cars just dont have the same visual impact and wow factor that this car has , this car has fender skirts ! factory original , in the trunk never overheated never uses or burns oil never any smoke .
