66 GTO hardtop The PHS on this vehicle showed it was originally equipped as a 2 door hardtop. Tripower, 4 Speed, Radio, Console, Metallic brake linings, Heavy duty fan and Safety Track Positraction (3.90). Burgundy exterior, Black vinyl top and Black interior. This vehicle was built on April 22, 1966. This is a project car, there is not motor or tranny, this car needs a complete restoration. The body is an empty shell with a Tempest front clip. The frame, body and doors are original to the car. The rear cross member has been remove because it was bent but I have a good one for it. The frame has been sand blasted, painted and all new bushing, springs and tie rod ends. The rear end has been rebuilt the invoice was $1000. New disc brakes, master cylinder and booster. The car has new quarters, floors and trunk. These were lap welded in and need feathering and finishing. There are a few dents in the hood, which are repairable. I have a heater underdash and firewall to go with it. I have good front buckets and rear seats which need to be recovered. The dash was removed because of rust but I have a perfect front firewall with dash and front windshield channel. The following parts go with the car, exhaust manifolds, hood springs, tranny cross member, plastic dash with radio and idiot light cluster and other misc parts. I have the original numbers matching remanufactured totally restored tranny for this for an extra $1,000. I have tried my best to describe this GTO. The factory optioned tripower, 4 speed and posi with burgundy and black exterior. A very desirable rare car.
