Up for auction is a 1988 Honda ZB 50 motorcycle, one of just over 3000 shipped to the US and Canada. This is a very rare bike that has been sitting in my neighbors shed for the past 10 years. I changed the gas, gave it 2 kicks and it fired right up. Runs and shifts thru all 3 gears like a dream. I saw over 35mph on the speedometer driving down my street. I've done some research and know how rare these bikes are. This bike is not a perfect 10 by any means but it does run and is completely operational. This is a perfect candidate for a complete restoration or buy it and drive as is. What works: runs and drives great. Brakes work great, shift thru all three gears with no issues. Head light works in HI/Low beam as does the instrument cluster. Turn signal indicator comes on but needs bulbs to make work. Mechanically operational and appearance wise its a 7. No rips in the seat or major dents, damage to the frame or sheet metal. There are 779 miles showing on the odometer. Replacement: Needs a couple turn signals, both tires have some dry rot but do hold air, the headlight bracket is bent, there is 2 small dents in the gas tank and some minor paint chips to the paint. Both rearview mirrors are missing, one of mirror threads is broke off in the handle. This BIKE WILL need a little bit of work to make it 100% original. I do have a clear green Michigan Title for the motorcycle. I tried to take a bunch of pictures to assist you in the assessment of the bikes condition.
