The ultimate sporty tourer, the R1200RT is one capable machine. Great ergonomics and plenty of luggage capacity for the long haul, and amazing handling to take your tour into the tight twisties. The engine has tons of torque at lower RPM. And the power keeps on coming all the way through the rev range. This one is nicely broken-in with 65,880 miles on it, and it is in really nice condition. There are obviously some flaws as can be expected of a bike with that mileage. There are a few scratches but it is mostly just a lot of tiny chips in the paint from road grit. This can all be seen in the pics below. It has loads of features like electronic cruise control, electronically adjustable windshield, heated grips, heated seats, electronic suspension adjustment which lets you choose different levels of stiffness for different riding conditions, automatic stability control which monitors wheel slip to keep you on the road, and an on-board computer to let you know MPG, miles-to-empty, average MPH, ambient temperature, and engine oil level. It also has the optional top case that will swallow two full face helmets. No kidding! The tires are in great shape and she's just been checked over with a clean bill of health. We are a dealer, so we must charge sales tax and process the title and plate if you are an Illinois buyer. If you are a buyer from one of the states that reciprocates with Illinois on sales tax, we must collect sales tax based on the vehicle rate for your state. As a dealer, we also have a $110 documentation fee, $161 title/registration fee for Illinois buyers, and $10 ride-away permit fee for out-of-state buyers.
