Vehicle Detail

Super Nice 1969 Honda CB750 K0For those of you who are new to collecting vintage Honda motorcycles; the 1969 CB750 K0 shook the motorcycle world when first introduced and has been declared “Motorcycle of the Century” by several publications (see link below).http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/features/122_1209_motorcycle_of_the_century_1969_honda_cb750/viewall.htmlThe 1969 CB750 K0 we have up for auction today was manufactured in December of 1969, just a few months after Honda switched from the sandcast to the diecast production method and was first sold and titled in early 1970. The exceptional condition of this bike is the result of an earlier restoration which incorporated many K0 parts such as the duck tail seat, the air box, the HM 300 pipes and mufflers, some NOS parts, a couple of reproduced parts and a K4 engine. This bike gets a lot of attention where ever it goes. You will be shocked how often someone will walk up and want to talk about the bike and their memories of those days. It’s a real classic and timeless style. As you can see from the photos, this bike isn’t perfect but it is in very good condition and could be raised to the highest level of presentation with some additional work. Today it’s an everyday rider in super nice condition. Here are some more details:· The bike has approximately 11,250 miles on the odometer.· The paint is in very good condition with only a couple of dings and chips (see photos)· The chrome is also in very good condition · The tires have good tread left and the wheels have been trued and balanced · All of the electronics work on the bike (except directional buzzer which has been removed)· The bike starts at the push of the button or you can use the kick start· The side covers are reproductions but have been painted a very close match to the tank color· The duck tail seat appears to be the original seat and is in very good condition with only one small tear near the belt. · The VIN on the frame is CB750-1017841· The VIN on the engine is CB750E-2418007These early CB750s are very collectible and should only increase in value over the years if you take good care of it.This is a NO RESERVE auction!A $500 deposit will be due within 48 hours from the end of the auction by Pay Pal.Full payment will be due in cash or by certified check within 7 days. The bike will not be released until checks have cleared the bank. Your bid is a contract to purchase, so we highly recommend that you inspect the bike in person, prior to submitting your bid. Please contact us if you would like to schedule an appointment to see the bike or if you have any other questions. Thanks and good luck bidding!
