Vehicle Detail

For Sale is a clean 1999 K2500 Suburban with 85,000 original miles. This truck is super clean with new 2012 Chevrolet Suburban Black leather captains chairs first and second row both power and heated third row was recovered to match, 454cid motor with 4L80E transmission, engine has a new Whipple supercharger with 30K warranty, ceramic headers, 4" exhaust with catalytic converters and oxygen sensors in place and smog pump in place so their will no problems with emissions test if that is needed in your area. New Accel distributor, wires, rotor and cam. New 20" Moto Metal staggered 20" rims with Nitto tires. New brakes front and rear i.e. rotors, calipers and pads less than 100miles. The truck was Dyno tuned about a year ago and is making a conservative 580hp & 600fpt at the rear wheels. The reason I say conservative is that they had it pushing 650hp but it was generating so much heat under the hood (not overheating) that I felt it would be better to retard the timing a bit and keep the truck as a daily driver. Since then I have installed a new true ram air hood but I have left the timing alone as the truck has plenty of power as is but just throwing that out there for anyone wondering how much power it is making or can make. Pretty much everything under the hood has been replaced within the past 12 months except the original engine and transmission. The A/C system was completely changed out a few months ago this includes the compressor, filter dryer, and the front & rear condensers. The steering box is brand new also. The truck is running dual gel cell Optima batteries one under the hood for the engine and one on the frame for the stereo system. The stereo system consist of a pioneer 7" touch screen app radio and an Alpine V12 1000watt amp to run the 8 JL component speakers in the doors and the rear ceiling and a Alpine V12 500watt mono amp pushing the 12" JL W6 under the third row seat. The 12" sub is in the floor(yes in the floor) facing up under the newly covered third row seat. their is a steel enclosure that is welded underneath the truck fro the sub, sounds very good if you like bass well there is plenty if you want. All of the component speakers and sub are less than 3 months old including the deck. The amps are probably 8 years old but work just fine. I was considering putting a 5 channel amp and hiding it in the firewall but I just don't want to put anymore money into the truck. I have 30k plus in this truck with all of the receipts to go with it. It has a clean car fax and I am the third owner, the truck was originally built by Stillen conversions out of California. From the factory Stillen took the truck and pulled he entire interior and put Dynamat throughout and in the doors, fabricated the custom bumpers and trimmed out the interior. I bought the truck a few years ago with the intent to update the interior and hop up the engine since it was such a clean low milage truck. I have done 99% of what I wanted to do but now we have a new house and I have no where to park it and I have moved onto a V12 Mercedes Benz project. The only issue that I can see on the entire truck is at the top of the windshield where the gasket meets the roof right in the center it has a rust spot about an inch long. We changed the windshield about 6 months ago and Ricks Rods in Lafayette who has done 80% of the work checked it out while the windshield was out said it isn't an issue and we were going to fix it when I decided to wet sand and repaint the roof which I never got around too. I am selling locally so I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime. This baby is going to make someone very happy its a nice truck with low miles and I hate to see it go but thats how it goes. NO RESERVE!!!! happy bidding. Please feel free to ask questions. On Jul-11-13 at 13:22:41 PDT, seller added the following information: I added a few more pictures and wanted to add that the GMC emblem on the front grill has been power coated black since the first photos were take. Also I would would entertain partial trades i.e. Guns, Rolex's but no other vehicles. On Jul-12-13 at 11:19:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok finally had time to go through all the receipts and list all parts replace on the truck in the past 6 months.-A/C compressor, filter dryer & both front and rear condensers.-Hydro brake booster system.-fuel pressure regulator & fuel injectors(add on for the supercharger)-New Accel spark plugs, wires, heat shields & Performance HEI BB distributor.-Rear hub seals-Steering box-New AutoMeter Pryo Gauge, Boost Gauge & Air fuel Gauge.-New front end urethane bushings and new front Monroe shocks.-New Rotors, Calipers & pads on the front and new Shoes and drums on the rear.-2 new Optima gel cell batteries.-New ram air hood made by Goodhoods.-New PIAA HID headlight kit.-20" Moto Metal rims and Nitto tires.-front and rear bumpers were blasted and repainted.-New GMC front grill.-New GM wiper arms and new PIAA blades-New N-Fab steps and bull bar.All of this work was done by a professional restoration shop Rick's Rod's in Lafayette, LA. Everything is done right so there will be no issues as a daily driver. The truck is dependable and sound. There are a few more things that I wanted to do but the the truck is ready to go as is and can be driven anywheres. We were going to drive it to Tampa for vacation but decided it would put too many miles on it. What I am saying is I was considering driving my family halfway across the country in it. The only reason I changed my mind is that I wanted to keep the milage as low as possible for the sale. The milage is correct and you can tell the second you start driving it, its solid no squeaks or rattles and handles and drives really well. I have ALL 30k worth of receipts from Ricks's Rod's for everything done and a copy of the dyno sheet. FYI- the truck was dynotuned on a 1500HP mustang dyno. If you know dynos you know what that means, true numbers no BS horsepower ratings.
