Vehicle Detail
1969 Camaro RS Convertible. Gorgeous Lemans Blue with white stripes. Newly restored. 383 crate engine, newly rebuilt turbo 350 automatic transmission, newly rebuilt 373 12 bolt rear end, new gas tank and lines, new brakes and brake lines, PS, PB, AC, frame rails and sway bars. This listing was taken down by eBay by mistake...I tried to add more pictures and that function was not working so I called customer service and they walked me through a process that had me re-list the car (I think I was talking to someone in India?) . Then they had me delete the re-list which triggered my account to be frozen and the listing taken down...anyway.... I have had a lot of questions and obviously I am new to eBay so here is the story of this car: I was in the South traveling on business and found this car sitting in the driveway of a nice home with a faded FOR SALE sign. I called the number and bought this Camaro RS Convertible on the spot and had it shipped to San Diego, CA. I had it taken to a shop that specialized in car restoration. I had this car taken apart down to the frame which was solid and intact. I had it completely restored not to original but to better than original. So it is not numbers matching and almost nothing on this car is original except for the gauges and the frame and body. There is no bondo...none! Rust has been replaced with metal from slavaged 1969 camaros or replacement body panels. I wanted this car as a safe, fast and reliable driver to cruise down HWY 101...so everything is new. (With a 373 rear, a shift kit and a 380hp engine this car beats just about any car off the line) not that I have done that too many time....I get it a lot of people are looking for a steal...and you can get this car for that. I absolutely love this car and would not sell it for what I have listed it if I didn't need the money. I don't restore cars as a profession. This was my dream car. This car runs great! You could drive it from San Diego to New York without issue. This is a great car, better than new so if you are a serious buyer please bid.
