Vehicle Detail

purchased at auction last year from the Lemay Collection in Tacoma WA. protected from the elements making it a beautiful restoration candidate. last plate sticker 1976, last tile 1979. older repaint in red, but all body panels have scratches, where you can see through to the original color, a light yellow. Yes, just like the RainMan 49 Buick! The seats are red leather. The car was robbed of some parts. Electric window switches were ripped from the Door panels. (avail repro) Rear arm rests are missing. The vent windows were missing but I found a good restorable set. The windshield trim was missing and the inside w/s trim is rusty. I found replacements for all but the "t" estucheon, a small piece connection the top w/s trim to the center vertical piece. Left front fender minor damage. Inside bottom piece of fender missing. grille and top bar are lightly pitted. I may have a better set for extra price. I also have a set of straight polished side trim, belonging to my sedanet, at extra price. wood top bow is out for remanufacture. (included) Engine is apart. Head is removed. Manifolds and carbs are missing. I have a complete running engine from a DynaFlow 1949 4dr Super available for extra. (80,000 miles) 3039880391 These cars bring BIG MONEY when restored! Back seat is out. (springs are great, no blasting or painting required. grille, top bar and front bumper are out of car. Hood is off (latch cables missing) See more pics at my website. roysvintagecars daht comm or watch here as I post more pics.On Jul-07-13 at 15:03:56 PDT, seller added the following information: In pics, car is shown with mismatched rims and tires. I added a set of nice matched rims that will clean up nicely for repaint. Matched snow tires in rear, matched vintage bias plys in front. All hold air well for as long as it takes to get new tire on the car. Seat springs maybe not as good as previously described. I attached pics, you decide. I have all pieces for the top. 2 metal bows are out of car, and they are fine. Wooden bow is out for remanufacture in Pennsylvania. When it returns will go with car. (approx 30 days) On Jul-08-13 at 17:33:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Ooops! I thought I had a title from WA State. It looks like a title. I went down to CO State DMV. Seems I need some more paperwork from WA. The auction company is working with me to get this done. I will eventually get a clear CO title. I'll provide a bill of Sale and copies of all the paperwork I have until the new title arrives... (I might need to get WA title, then CO title, so it may take a while) If car does not sell at this go-around, I'll repost after I have title in hand. I apologize for any inconvenience. Keep my phone number and let me know if you want to be notified, in the case of relisting.
