Get ready for summer cruising with this beautiful Thunderbird convertible. It is a 1965 model; however, it has a front clip from a 1966. The car starts and drives well with no known problems. The 390 engine been upgraded with a Holley fuel injection system and Mallory electronic ignition. The slide away steering column has been recently rebuilt and works well. Also replaced recently is the power brake assist module and the hydraulic pump for the power top. The interior is all original and in very good condition as you can see in the pictures. The body likewise shows well; however, there are a few chips and a couple of rub marks on the paint. I have tried to catch these in the pictures. The chrome is original, but still looks good from about 15 feet away. I have not found anything other than surface rust under the car, but I see the paint on the very bottom of the left rear quarter panel has started some bubbling. While it is not bad yet, I have included a picture of this area so the buyer is aware. The car has power windows which work well. The top is in good condition and the power up and down works. It also has factory air; however, the compressor was removed to gain access to the power steering pump for repairs and not replaced. It comes with the car for the new owner to reinstall if he/she wants the A/C working. All dash gauges are working except the temperature gauge. The tires are in very good shape. The odometer shows 58,000 miles; however I can not certify this is the actual mileage. This car is a real pleasure to drive, and it gets lots of thumbs up from other motorist.
