I am the Original Owner of this 1997 Chevy Silverado K-1500 Extended Cab 4 x 4 Pickup. I have been using this truck up to a month ago when I purchased a new truck and this one started running rough at the same time. I am not sure but seems to need a big tuneup because it runs rough like the wires, cap or plugs are fouling. I have it registered now but have no interest in fixing it up so I am selling this truck as a parts truck but sure it can be fixed by someone with experience. I used this for my lawn care business and changed the oil every 3000 miles with Mobil 1. I have the Original Sticker ($29,000) and all the maintenance records. *** Vortec 5700 V8 Engine 5.7L, Air, Cruise Control, High Quality Excaliper Alarm System w/ Remote Start, Heavy Duty Towing Package w/ Brake Controller, Additional Rear Suspension (Lifetime Guarantee) added, Bed Liner, Husky Floor Mats ~ 3 piece front and full size for back seat, and lots more.... *** Some minor rust and many cosmetic flaws exists but still very strong and solid all around! Hood has a large dent on each side and I use a bar to keep the hood up when working. The drivers side mirror has cracks in the glass and both items can easily be fixed by the new owner. New Rear Axle recently installed and the tailgate was also new and in excellent shape. The rear axle cost $800 and the tailgate was $250. Parts alone this truck is well worth the money!! As I said the truck is drivable but runs very rough so someone with any mechanical experience should be able to make themselves a very good runner when done. Please ask any questions before bidding!!
