Vehicle Detail

Here is for sale one of the 720 Buick limousine built in 1937. The origins of the Limited name date to 1936 when Buick added names to its entire model lineup to celebrate the engineering improvements and design advancements over their 1935 models. Buick had released a new line of cars that were technically superior to their predecessors by offering such features as all-steel passenger compartment tops (GM's Turret Top design), improved front suspension, improved hydraulic safety braking system, alloy engine pistons and an improved engine cooling system. Buick's Series 90 — Buick's largest and most luxurious vehicle — was named the Limited. The engine was a 320CID 120 hp (89 kW). Limiteds were the most expensive Buicks in production, riding on the company's longest wheelbase of 138 in and the best appointed cars that Buick built. The name Limited was truly appropriate to the cars themselves which were limited to touring sedans and limousines; its sales too were the smallest of Buick's entire model range. The car is under restoration as pictured. A couple of photos have been uploaded but many other are available if requested. This 90L has the factory glass partition window and two folding auxiliary seats between the front and the rear passenger seats. I have been collecting Buick parts for the last 6 years and this car will come with all you need to finish the project with the exception of the passenger microphone. All parts to finish the project are included (seats, trim, side mounted spare tire covers fenders, running boards, etc). Many chrome parts were redone as well! I will have additional photos that I can email if requested. I will include in this auction , if buyer is interested, one additional rebuilt engine, one spare gearbox, two folding seats, one new wiring harness, seats, etc. I can also email a complete list if requested. I can help shipping this car from the port of Norfolk. The car is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to remove it at any time. If you have any question, please email or call at 757 456 0117. On Jul-05-13 at 08:21:18 PDT, seller added the following information: I received a lot of questions with regards to the parts that go with the car. I am now posting some photos that will give you an good idea. Others will be posted later on today. Also, for the additional spare parts, I can add a second hood and a second front clip.On Jul-05-13 at 17:10:17 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional photos of the parts are now posted but I am still in the process of gathering all parts.... I received other questions with regard to the shipping. As long as the car is paid for, I have no issue to keep the car in storage for up to two months; I definitely can help with the transportation of the car as well. I also have another 37 Roadmaster (same condition - under restoration). I would be glad to discuss with potential buyer if interested. If buyer is interested in both cars, I will include two additional 320 engines and a two additional gearbox - period correct.
