Vehicle Detail
It is time for me to sell my favorite toy. My health forces me to liquidate. So here she is, a 1937 (This is how the title reads) SS100. The SS was for the manufacturer Swallow Sidecar. In 1937 she was the race car for Swallow Sidecar and reached 100 MPH on her 1.6 L Four cylinder gasoline engine. In 1938 the company had to change it's name due to the German SS troops. The new name, Jaguar. This car is a very well made and assembled reproduction of the famous SS100. The pictures will tell most all...please email for any additional info. I love cruising the strip in Branson, MO with this car...what a HOOT!!! People really do stop in their tracks to wave and compliment the car. I purchased the project in 2005 and completed the build. Since the engine and speedometer were added together, the millage is near 4000. The car is stored in my hanger in MO and I am currently in PA. The side curtains/windows are zipper and snap in and in great condition as the top. The seats are all in fine condition. I take this car to shows...PA and MO. She carries Historic Plates for the engine, front end, and sub-frame are 1984. The title actually lists the car as 1937 Jaguar, and in small print at top of title... replica. She drives straight and reliable. Fuel capacity is around 16 gal. The luggage compartment is accessed thru panel behind seats. The tires are near new as the spare. Because she has always been well maintained, and stored inside, all is in very fine shape. Now, the problems.....The engine leaks oil...go figure...a Jag? Yep...nice car. You will love her as I do... I have lowered the starting price five times and have it at it's lowest now.
