Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1976 Suzuki GT250.(no reserve price) I have the title but it was never processed correctly by previous owners. It sat in my garage for 5 years and I finally tackled it starting 3 months ago. It is now running, cleaned up and looking great. Many pictures and videos can be seen at the following sites: Most recent videos: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPkQXxueKoPVPfEIx0bCAL7Ol64E3-_Tp Very detailed videos (moth ball stage to first startup - currently 6 videos): http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPkQXxueKoPW4u8zODd6UapCCjv9ubkBA Detail Pictures ( from moth balls to stripping it down and cleaning and fixing it) https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/113272197619202633230/albums/5849816537236305473?partnerid=gplp0 Work in progress includes: installing blinkers, getting horn to work. Work recently done: rebuilt carburetors, rebuilt front caliper, cleaned engine...especially underneath, new battery, replaced 1975 airfilter box with correct 1976 airfilter box After I bought the bike, the state of Texas did not like that the title was signed by previous owner and not the seller. There is a bonding process the state of Texas requires to get the title squared away. I won't be correcting the title so who ever buys the motorcycle will need to go through their State's protocol for titling such a vehicle. If you're in Texas you will pay $15 fee, fill out 2 or 3 documents, get vehicle surety bond, go back to the tax office and request a title transfer...something like that. On Jul-02-13 at 20:40:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Updates ( 07/01/2013 ): Clock lenses: turns out the lenses are attached to the individual clocks. I can swap out clocks with my other GT250A which are very nice however the mileage on the speedometer shows 12,050 miles while the speedometer on the GT250A being sold, shows only 3365 miles. I will search around for some polishing compound and see if I can't polish the original clocks. If I can't polish them well, then I will swap out the clocks so the GT250A being sold, has the 12,050 mile clocks with nice lenses. You can see both bikes and clock sets in the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6JXtyPb6iY (scan over to 2 minutes into the video to see the discussion ). If the winning bidder desires, I will revert, the bike being sold, back to the original clocks with foggy lenses and 3365 miles odometer Udates(07/01/2013) Blinkers: turns out, the blinkers I have for the front, are aftermarket plastic blinkers. The rear blinkers are correct for the 1976 GT250A. If you are interested in this bike, please check back to the listing to see what state the bike is in. It is being sold as is. Please ask questions. On Jul-04-13 at 23:12:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Clock lenses: currently the original clocks are back on the motorcycle. The polishing helped. In the process of taking the lenses off and putting them back on, the compression nut for the speedometer cable completely disintegrated. Fortunately I had the cable from the other GT250 to replace the broken speedometer cable. The original clocks will stay with the motorcycle since swapping out the clocks runs the risk of further damage and as the motorcycle passes on to the new owner I won't have the time to repair such damage. Blinkers: blinkers are successfully installed and working Horn: horn also is working
