We have been the owner of this car for the last 20+ years. Purchased the car from Arizona and has never seen bad weather. Always garaged. The body and interior are almost perfect. One of the most solid and cleanest 67 Camaro’s you will find out there. Color in my opinion is perfect for this body style. Not sure of mileage. Mileage is unknown. Gauges show just over 1000. Probably is like 101,000? There are a couple of older pictures here, but the only thing different now is that the Cowl Induction tags on the hood have been removed. One thing in question about the car is if it is a true RS/SS. The cowl identification tag on the car does not indicate this but this is a very early production (Jan 67) car from LA and as all enthusiasts know not a lot of info was displayed on these cars and without the build sheet which is long gone it is almost impossible to tell. Regardless, this car is amazing with a 12 bolt rear end and 4 speed, power steering, power front disc brakes, hide away headlights, deluxe interior and gauge package. It would be a hard one to clone with these typical high performance options. But let’s just say it is a clone to save question. The car just about has undergone a frame on restoration as almost everything has been replaced or rebuilt. No expense spared on this car. Way more invested than I am asking for the car. Here is a list of what has been done to the car. I know there will be some things that I miss but I will capture the highlights. - Rebuilt +30 over 350 (355) small block motor. Conservative 400+ horsepower. Sounds awesome! About 1500 miles on motor. - New Centerforce clutch, throw out bearing, pressure plate and flywheel in front of a Muncie M-20 transmission. - Solid 12 bolt posi-traction rear end with 3:73 Motive gears and Mosier aluminum reinforced cover. Followed up by a Competition Engineering Slide-A-Link traction bar set-up. - New brakes front and rear. - New master cylinder and power booster. - All new front steering (ball joints, tie rod ends, drag link, idler arm, pitman arm, bushings and steering gear box). - New 1” tube double core aluminum radiator - 16” 2175 cfm electric fan - New 15” wheels and tires as seen in picture - New carpet. - New wiring harness from firewall to engine and lights. - New gas tank and sending unit. - Newer Flowmaster exhaust - New very high end Dynatech ceramic coated headers - New 750 cfm Quick Fuel race carb - New Pertronix HEI distributor with new MSD wires - New U-Joints - New front/rear springs Again, I’m sure there is a lot I am missing, but the car is a must see to appreciate.
