A 1980 Malibu Classic Wagon in nice shape. Original Elderly owner (D.O.B 1921). Vehicle was sold to another owner but never registered so the 85,000 miles are from the same driver. Was garaged its entire life except last 4 years. It has the 3 speed Hydra-Matic transmission and it shifts very nice. The engine is a 3.8 liter V-6 and the car is rated at 19/26 miles per gallon. I installed a new battery and radiator with a thermostat. I also did a full tune up.(Spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor, air and fuel filters, pcv valve and transmission service. It drives very nice. The tires and brakes both have very little wear on them. The only issue I noticed is that the fuel guage intermittently works. Seems to work more once you drive it around a bit. The car has not been registered since 2005 but i would start it up now and then and drive up and down the street. It really does not need any work. As far as defects, it has two cracks in dashboard and two areas where i fixed very small dents....I did not match the paint perfectly but the body itself is in very good shape and so is all the original paint. It is a very solid car and would be great for a new driver as i am certain this car would hold up quite well in an accident vs any modern car. $500 deposit 2 days after auction end and please call with any questions or email. 203-996-0272
