Vehicle Detail
VEHICLE CAN BE SHIPPED ANYWHERE ON THE CONTINENT USING USHIP. If you are interested in this car and you are out of state, just get a quote from U-Ship. Last time I bought a car I got a quote for $450 to bring the car from TEXTAS to Florida. Incredibly cheap rates! I have here a 1979 Chevy El Camino, 305 V8 engine and automatic trans. It has undergone a pretty thorough restoration. It's not perfect but who is? Fathom blue paint job with SS stripes, it's a real head turner, and the torquey V8 is good for cruising down the boulevard or hauling whatever you can fit in the bed. Everything works on this car. A/C blows cold (but has slow leak, needs $50 line - see video), great sound system, COMPLETELY brand new interior. That includes re-upholstered original seat, brand new dash, new carpet, and headliner. Fresh GM paint, This is a no nonsense car. Turn the key and go. The rochester quadrajet carburetor has been fully and completely rebuilt and starts right up the first time. Brakes, engine, and trans have also all been inspected and sorted out, all new fluids all around. New A/C is converted to 134. Original Rally wheels with good chrome beauty rings are included if desired, although the truck comes with custom fitted Chevy vortex wheels. Gas tank has been rust-proofed. Rear suspension has been gone through and is set up to handle truck use. Front suspension re-done and includes new bushings. Bed has been lined. There are a couple small issues but it's a Chevy, nothing is irreparable on a car like this. Couple small rust bubbles in the paint from living outside, the bottom of the driver door was repaired and has some leftover stuff inside where it cannot be seen, tail lights were repaired, nothing affects function at all. The one thing EVERYONE loves about this car is the way it drives... Sure it's not 100% concourse correct but who cares? Interesting people drive interesting cars, and this one does handle fantastic. Again, check out the video, I think it covers everything quite nicely. If you are looking for an awesome cruck, that will really turn some heads, and still get whatever job you throw at it done, and don't want to worry about anything, this is the vehicle for you. It's ready to go. Come get it and drive it home. Heck, drive it to Alaska. It won't fuss a bit.
