Vehicle Detail

For sale is a very pampered, very nice, Will Cooksey (Z44) "427" Special Edition Corvette. I bought the car new and picked it up at the Museum. It is #32 out of 427 built for the States. She has lived all her life in a heated and cooled garage where she shares space with a '13 427 60th Anniversary corvette, a 1993 ZR1 40th Anniversary, a 1971 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible, a 2013 ZL1 Camaro convertible and the wife's E550 Cabriolet. Most of the 6100 miles came from travelling back and forth to the museum. Her first two years we were there three times. I drive her regularly to dinner and to town on sunny nice days. She drives like she did when I picked her up in Bowling Green. She has had all her regular service, not because of miles but time. I have all the "OnStar" reports and will provide those to you if you buy the car to help ensure you documentation for future provenance. I also have the original window sticker, the build sheet and all the other paper work that the factory uses proving the provenance of the car. Gathering and preserving this paper work is one of the really nice aspects of museum delivery. In the pictures you will notice that the original plastic she came wrapped in to the museum is still in the left cubby in the trunk area. The museum folks removed it for delivery and it remains there today. Also, there are two sets of floor mats in the picture. I put the 427 mats in the back to keep them new. There is a picture of a never worn 427 leather jacket signed by Will Cooksey. I paid $600 for the jacket. There is also a 427 shirt. The jacket and shirt are as rare as the car. Finally, there are two covers, an indoor cover which you see on the car in one picture and an outdoor cover in the back. If you hit the "Buy it Now" price I will throw in the jacket, shirt and the extra cover and mats. If not, I have other Corvettes I can use them with. If you need to have it shipped, I will be glad to assist the shipper but the cost is yours. I absolutely LOVE this car! But, I am out of garage space - I have already added on once and the city will not let me build any closer to my property line. AND, I've got a new 2014 Stingray coming. You will not be disappointed. I am as picky about my cars as anyone you know and this car is nearly perfect. Happy to send more pics if you need them. The ones included are high res and you should be able to get a good idea of what is there. It really is perfect. No nics, no dings, no wheel scrapes, no bug divots, no spots, no discolorations - you name and it does not have it! :-) This is a NO RESERVE auction - minimum bid is $48,000, but one bid and it may very well be yours. Please be sure you have the funds before bidding. Please call me with questions or if you have fewer than 10 positive feedback or ANY negative feedback before you bid. (417) 818-1088.
