I have a 1979 Ford E250 Quadravan built by Pathfinder here for sale. I will do my best to describe it but everyone is invited to inspect this van before the auction is over so you know what you would be getting. I purchased this van about 2 years ago from the previous owner at Wisconsin with the intention of going camping with it. It is equipped with a propane heater-it is out of propane and I never tried or tested it so I can not tell you how it works/if it works. It also has 2 bench's in the back to sit at as well as a small table. The 4 wheel drive system is the part-time type with auto locking front hubs. It has the 460 big block V8 with auto transmission. It also has a huge winch on the front as well as a power angle snow plow. I paid $5800 for it and it runs, idle's, and drives just fine. It has AC that blows just a little cold. I am setting the reserve at $2500 and if the price goes high enough (around $4,000 ?) I will include the plow. The van has dual tanks but I have it running off of just the rear tank right now. It has a new bosch fuel pump, plugs and wires. I am sure there is something I may be forgetting so feel free to send me your questions, if you have any. This van has a fantastic body-there is no rust on the body at all. Looking under it there is some surface rust, but nothing more. Before I got this van it spent it's whole life stored in a garage and that's why the body is so good. We didn't use the van as we expected to and it just sits plus now I have another project. On Jun-23-13 at 05:53:16 PDT, seller added the following information:I forgot to mention a couple things, first the mileage is 67,000 original miles and also we had been using it to store stuff in mainly because we were cleaning out my parents house to be sold and so I apologize for the clutter but we will have it cleaned out by the end of the auction. Also the van runs and drives and so if you are local you could drive it home but if you are a distance away you may want to trailer it. The van is mechanically sound and you may have your mechanic look at it if you want but it has been sitting here over the winter and so it may need some TLC before taking it on a big road trip.On Jun-26-13 at 16:58:41 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked a lot of questions and so I want to add to this description to help everyone. Will the van make it X miles home ? The van runs and drives fine and the only problem we ever had with it was with the fuel line going to the front tank, that is why we ran a brand new line straight to the rear tank. So as far as I can tell it should make it to California and back if you had the gas money-but of course I can not guaranty it. How soon does it need to be picked up ? As long as it is paid for you can take your time picking it up. Also I should have noted that the winch and the snow plow both were put on by Pathfinder when it was converted to 4 wheel drive so in a way it's factory options. I also have plow lights that are painted the same color as the van.
