It is equipped with the 3.3L turbocharged 6 cylinder motor paired with a 4 speed manual transmission. It is white with tan leather interior. The odometer currently shows 99K miles on it but is inoperable and we will be selling this car with mileage exempt status. After discussing it with the previous owner, we believe this car has somewhere around 140K miles on it. The car has a clean title with no accidents showing on Carfax. This car starts on the first bump of the starter and idles perfectly. Mechanically the car runs and drives perfectly with the exception of a highway speed vibration from the old flat spotted tires. The engine runs smooth and comes on very strong under boost. The clutch feels great and the transmission shifts smoothly and effortlessly. The brake pedal is solid with great braking performance. Steering is tight and crisp and the power steering functions as it should. Again this car could benefit from new tires as there is a highway speed vibration. I personally feel this car is reliable enough to be driven anywhere, although encourage any buyers to use their discretion as this is a 25 year old Porsche that needs some TLC. The body of this car shows no obvious signs of collision in the nose, the tail or down the sides. Car is very straight for being used as a driver most of its life. This car spent it's life in Atlanta Ga. and South Carolina before arriving here in Knoxville Tn. So this is a straight genuine 930 turbo with no rust! It has seen some upgrades to the motor and appearance. As for the cosmetics of the car it has been updated with Fiberglass 964 front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, and custom front fenders to utilize factory Porsche 993 headlights. Gives the car a great updated look. These upgrades were made in the late 90's and the car was completely resprayed at this time. This car is not perfect cosmetically and does have some spots of rock chips in the front and along the side skirts. For its age and the fact this car is a driver and not a driveway queen. The paint is in decent shape. The paint job was professionally done with the car being disassembled so there are no tape lines on window rubbers etc. All of the body modifications are not permanent, but only bolt on changes. So changing it back to its original appearance would not be difficult. This car has been modified to the limits of the CIS fuel injection. The work was done by Doc in Stone Mountain Ga. It has received a turbo upgrade, head work, uprated clutch, fueling tweaks etc. According to the previous owner it puts down a claimed 325hp at the wheels on the dyno. We have not confirmed this on a dyno, but from the seat of the pants dyno it feels like a realistic 325hp. There have been more upgrades done to the suspension and brakes, but we unfortunately do not have the specifics as we have not been able to contact the previous owner since we purchased the car. Known issues the car has are typical oil leaks on the motor, but no signs of burning any oil. The passenger side window is not working. The odometer is inop, the tachometer and speedometer are intermittent, boost gauge is inop, windshield wipers are inop, and the AC is inop. This car is straight enough to be completely restored or the perfect car to be a driver or possibly a track car depending on your taste. We have pulled the Carfax information on this vehicle and it shows no accident history. We also have a CLEAN Geogia title with no Salvage History noted on the title. Prior to listing we had no adverse knowledge to the vehicle being anything other than a clean titled vehicle. Unfortunately, it has been brought to our attention that Autocheck shows Salvage History from 1996. I have spoke to the Georgia DMV and they state that they do not show Salvage History on the vehicle in 1996, but they do show a transfer to an out of state title. They require a MV-20 Form to be filled out to obtain this information. Again, the title in our hands and that can be seen in the photos is clean and clear.It does not note the vehicle being Rebuilt or Salvaged, and the Carfax history does not reflect this either. Upon a thorough 2nd inspection, there are no signs of collision front or rear and the alignment was checked as well. The car is straight and clean!
