1952 Ford f1 Short Box half ton pick up! This truck came from south west wisconsin. The previous owner sold it to me due to health issues. This truck comes with a clean numbers matching wisconsin title. He started the body work by painting the fenders black ( the black paint is so shiny that it reflects like a mirror, there are no dents in the fenders) and primming the cab, hood, and box in gray. He did not have it running when I bought it. I brought it home and installed a new choke cable, rebuilt the carb, did a complete tune up with a new fuel pump, condenser, ign coil, spark plugs, ign switch, and contacts. I am running the truck off a auxillary gas tank as the original tank should be flushed. I fell in love with the original paint in the interior. It is burgandy and shows very well as pictures show! It has the original seat but it should be recovered. I put a seat cover over the original vinyl. As the video shows, The truck fires right up on the first crank, shifts all three gears (three speed on the column) and reverse with ease and also downshifts with no grinding. This is one of the most comfortable trucks to drive and ride in I have owned. As the video shows, I took the truck up to 50 mph and it drives very true and it handles great. The brakes work, it has a rebuilt master cylinder. The truck stops but in my opinion, the four wheel cylinders should be replaced and the brake job finished. It has the original wood in the box and it looks good. All of the glass is there and the windows go up and down with ease. All of the guages work including the speedometer. You can leave this truck the way it is and clear coat it or you can paint the gray primer any color you would want! This is a rare hard to find short box half ton ford that gets tons of looks and many "thumbs up's" when driven. I do not want to overcall this truck or undercall it, let the the description, pictures , and video tell the story. I invite you to come and drive/inspect the truck by appointment.
