Vehicle Detail
This bike has been excellent to me and I hate letting go of it, but I'm at the point of setting priorities in life and something has got to give. This was a demo bike from Monroe Motors in San Francisco, I have all paperwork and records in hand. This is a 2009, the first year ever for the "R" model Street Triple. I have taken great care of the bike and it rides as such. It is one of the most fun rides I've ever experienced, especially in the turns. I will sell for in it's current form with all the aftermarket on it. I have spent thousands on aftermarket improvements and accessories. There is really nothing left to do to this bike, it's the complete Triumph package and would have cost more than $11,000 new for just the Triumph-branded improvements. I then added a wide variety of high-quality brand-name third-party components, likely putting it in the $13,000 range in 2009. The complete list of aftermarket is as follows: Armor: (The entire bike has been armored with sliders so that none of the original bike touches the road if it's laid down.) R&G Racing Fork Sliders, R&G Racing Spool Sliders, R&G Racing Bar-end Sliders Rizoma Engine Sliders GB Racing Alternator, Cranckcase and Solenoid Slider Exhaust: Arrow aftermarket exhaust, Triumph-branded Triumph-branded Body and Accents: Flyscreen - Graphite Gray Seat Cowl - Graphite Gray Belly Pan - Graphite Gray Upper Chain Guard - Carbon Fiber Lower Chain Guard - Carbon Fiber Rear Light Assembly - Clear Rear Hugger Kit - Black Anodised Brake Reservoir, Front Anodised Brake Reservoir, Rear Naked Radiator Cowls - Black Tank Pad - Carbon Fiber Anodised Top Yoke Nut - Gold Aftermarket Body and Accents: Rizoma Mirrors - Black and Gold R&G Radiator Protector - Black R&G Fender Eliminator Rizoma Zero-11 Front & Rear Indicators - Black It has been ridden sparingly, as I'm active-duty military and on near constant assignments and deployments. It was low-sided once on the left side at about 25 mph in 2010. The armor was the only thing that needed to be replaced. I had the internals and the frame of the bike checked out and there was no damage. I have since replaced the sliders/armor and have continued to ride it since (about 8 months). The bike has less than 600 miles and is completely up on its maintenance. I also have all the original parts, but will sell those seperately or offer to swap for the aftermarket. I've ridden this beauty on many group rides and up to MotoGP and to date I've had four offers to buy it from me but I didn't take their info because I didn't forsee ever selling my Triumph. It's your opportunity now.
