Ok here we go again This is a 81 cx500 Honda I picked up from a friend of mine who it for owned it for 4 or 5 years until purchasing a Harley last summer from another friend of ours He put a new battery and new tire front tire about a year before, rear tire is around 50%. Bike Runs but will pet cock rebuilt, I purchased kit it just came today if I get the time I will install it but bid as if it needs to be installed it will need to be rebuilt before its ready to ride. Bike will fire up and he always bragged how great it rides. Some surface rust , and pitting but nothing major, few scratches(pictured) and one small dent in tank, This is a true classic in great shape and just in time for riding season. Has clean and clear title in my name mileage is 38,491 ,handle bars chrome is darkened from age (pictured) I came across a leather tool bag, and a set of leather pony express style saddle bags I had in box in the garage I thought they (I'll post some pics of bags tomorrow) would look great on this bike I just mounted it with zip ties buyer can mount it permanitly , oh and its got a custom sewn hand done leather seat cover, This bike is over 30 years old and not perfect but is really nice for its age, Any questions please ask Thanx Tom 330-553-1946On Jun-20-13 at 13:09:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Note: I rebuilt petcock and its working fine Bike fires right up got a slight hesitation till it warms up then it runs, Bike is ready to ride that being said bike has set for almost a year , I would suggest changing oil, air filter (I put new plugs in it) Bike also needs a good detailing make this true Classic shine !!! I will post pictures of bags when I get home around 6:00 As stated earlier my friend owned this bike previosly put a lot of miles on it with no problems other than the petcock and its been rebuilt and is working fine Any questions please ask Thanx Tom 330-553-1946
