PHOTOS ARE IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER ! This beautiful Grand Prix - Model "J" was recently painted "Espresso Metallic," and finished with a clear coat. It has no rust, and it never had any. No Bondo hiding any bad spots. It has the 400 cid/350 hp engine. If you’re a Grand Prix fan, then you know you don’t see many on the road, especially the 1969 model. Most of them are increasingly disappearing from existence, and those still around are nowhere near this condition. She just had her 100,000 mile birthday, but don’t let that fool you into thinking that she won’t give you the get up and go when you want it. She’s not a racing machine, but she is in need of a tune-up, but other than that, she is just a nice well-mannered young lady - the gas mileage isn’t that bad either- anywhere from 15 to 20 MPG, depending, of course, on how you drive. It’s a pleasurable everyday driver, and it runs nicely. She starts up at the first turn of the key, with a slight touch of the gas pedal. She has been on the highway at speed limits of 65-70 mph without a problem. She has PS, PB, and PW, JVC AM/FM disc player with two speakers in the front and two speakers in the rear. She also has A/C, but the compressor was removed to be rebuilt. Upon inspection of the unit, I decided to buy a new compressor from Classic Auto. The new unit comes with all parts needed to install - brackets, hoses, etc. It will be in its unopened carton, and I will pack it carefully, and store it in the trunk when the car is delivered, I'm sorry I don't have time to install it. It also has the original PMD (Pontiac Motor Division) alloy wheels with new tires. The interior is black, with bucket seats, and the center console has a trunk release button that pops the trunk from inside the car. It also has a manual inside remote control for the driver’s side outside mirror. The interior is in better than good condition as you can see from the photos. The headliner is also in great shape with no tears or stains. I also have all the exterior emblems (new, still in plastic wrap) that the car is missing when it was painted. I will also include them to the buyer free of charge. I've always tried to keep her up to date and running in good condition, and sale is as is. Hope fully you will appreciate the magnificence of this car. If you’re familiar with antique cars, you know they will never outgrow their need for our attention, and not counting the mileage, you’ll never see a 44 year old, 1969 like this one looking in this condition, especially at this price! Forgot to mention that the Tranny shifts smooth into the gears.BEWARE OF OTHER 5 DIGIT ODOMETERS THAT HAVE LOWER MILAGE, AND SAY ORIGINAL MILEAGE IN THEIR ADVERTISEMENTS! WHEN YOU SEE AN AD SAYING ORIGINAL MILES, YOU CAN BE ALMOST SURE THE ODOOMETER HAS GONE OVER 99,999 MILES AND BACK TO "00000" AND STARTED AGAIN ! FEDERAL LAW EXEMPTS MILAGE ON A TITLE FOR 5 DIDGIT ODOMETERS! MY ODOMETER READS JUST UNDER 400 MILES, AND, YES, IT DID GO AROUND ONLY ONCE. IF IT WASN’T FOR MY SUDDEN NEED TO ATTEND TO OTHER MORE PRESSING FINANCIAL MATTERS, YOU WOULD NEVER SEE MY BABY UP FOR SALE. THE OPENING BID IS FOR $8,500, WITH NO RESERVE.
