1948 International Pick Up half ton. This truck was in the process of restoration when I bought it. This truck comes with a clear wisconsin title with numbers matching the vin plate. All of the tags are on the truck including the tag for the rare knox box. The previous owner had the seat done, and he started to address mechanical issues when he became ill and could not finish. He rebuilt the carburator, added a electric fuel pump, and put a new ignition switch in. He also replaced the coil, put new points, plugs, and a condenser in. He did a new fuel pressure regulator and a new choke cable. The truck fires right up on the first try! The international truck runs like a dream and drives (as video shows) very true with no play in the steering. The truck needs brakes addressed ( nothing was done yet but all of the parts are there.) The exhaust should be replaced (it is noisy). The body is mostly rust free as pictures show. The cab is in good shape and floor boards look good (as pictured) there is heavy duty plywood for the bed as pictured. The windshield crank is there but needs lubing. All of the glass is there. the window regulators need lubing but they do work. The doors all shut the way they should with no sag. The right rear fender needs attention the most, but it is definetly fixable. The wire harness is original. This truck has the rare "knox box". the knox box was used by international harvester on some of their trucks from the factory. It is a 7 1/2 foot box on a 125 '' wheel base. As stated before, the ID plate is still intact on the driver side rear of the box (pictured) . This international truck has a great art deco look and will not take much to finish up. I have the truck running on a aux fuel tank as the original tank has not been cleaned and flushed yet. I Do not want to overcall this truck or undercall it, let the pictures, video, and description tell the story. I require a 500 dollar paypal deposit within 24 hours of auction end.
