Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is an unmodified 1985 Honda Rebel CMX250C. The bike runs and drives well; I use it as my daily rider and wouldn't hesitate to ride it anywhere. The bike got new tires last year (still have the nubs on them - see picture), new clutch cable and new genuine Honda air filter. The battery is a genuine Yuasa and is less than three months old. I have only run ethanol-free gas in it since I bought it. The bike does need a little enricher (it isn't a choke on this bike although some call it that) to start, which isn't uncommon with the Rebel, but once warm it runs great with no enricher(choke). The current oil change using Castrol motorcycle oil has less than 125 miles on it. Everything works - all the lights, the horn, and the brakes are good...it passed state inspection two months ago with absolutely no issues. The fenders are straight with nothing more than small chips out of them. The tank doesn't have the usual dents from the turn signals hitting it but does have a scuff and some ripples near the seat on the left-hand side as well as minor paint chips. A picture of the tank is included. Otherwise, it is an all-original 1985 Honda Rebel. Like I said before, it runs well and I'd take it anywhere, including long distance trips. It is being sold as-is, with no warranties expressed or implied. Shipment or pick-up is the responsibility of the buyer although I will assist in any way I can. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.On Jun-10-13 at 17:05:09 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had several questions about the enrichener. It is the choke - Honda actually calls it a choke although it increases fuel instead of restricting air. It is the same principle of operation: turn it on to start, turn it off when the engine is warm. Here is a video of me starting the motorcycle:
