This is an original, very clean Honda CL175. This is a fantastic little motorcycle. Runs excellent, idles fine. I bought this bike last winter because it was such a neat piece. I installed new Michelin tires with new tubes and am using Dynabeads for balance. I cleaned up the chrome, polished the paint and rode it a little. I'm passing it on for a couple of reasons: I have a wife that would like a different bike, and I just haven't had a chance to ride it that much. The paint on the top of the tank has a couple of scratches that do not go deep enough to hit primer. it also has some slight discoloration to the paint, it appears that someone had a fuel spill on top of the tank and didn't wipe it off. Both issues could probably be cleaned up by rubbing compound and a little elbow grease. The tank has one or two very small dings that do not break the paint. The chrome is clean and shiny. This is a 40 year old bike so it's not perfect, but it's far from being rusty and peeling. The hard to find scrambler pipes are darn near perfect. I have a set of fork seals for this bike, I will include them in the sale. I don't think they're leaking (yet) but the ones in it are the originals, so they'll need replacing.. The speed needle is a little 'bouncy' and that's caused by the old lubricant acting as 'glue' after all of these years. It might straighten itself out, it may require you removing the cover and lubing the springs. Only time will tell.. Overall, this is an incredibly clean, unmolested CL.
