This truck is absolutely beautiful! Rides very smooth and is incredibly strong. The 7.3’s are famous for being bulletproof and running for 3-400k. You will not be disappointed with this truck. The paint is in extremely good condition given it’s age and the interior is better than any 7.3 that I have ever seen in person. A/C blows cold, heat blows hot and the 4WD works perfectly. Truck is 100% functional! I use the truck primarily to pull my 36’ camper and some 4-wheelers. The front hitch is great for hauling ¼ rick of wood camping, a motorcycle on the front, sitting on the hitch hauler during car shows or for parking trailers in really tight spots. The back-up camera makes parking this truck very simple. The Navigation system is easy to use and the DVD player will keep everyone in the truck occupied so you can have some peace during those long trips. The truck does have a few performance mods that give it good power while maintaining great MPG’s (~17). The Platinum Edition was only made in 2001. There were a little over 2,700 of them made and not all were Diesels. This is a very rare truck to find, especially in this condition. The truck turns heads everywhere I go and people are always shocked that a “Platinum Edition” exists because most people have never heard of them. Winning bid requires a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24hrs and full payment within 7 days. Vehicle can be picked up when payment clears and can remain on property for 30 days if you need time to make transportation arrangements. Buyer can also fly into McGhee Tyson airport in Knoxville, Tn and drive the truck home. I will be more than happy to pick you up and have it topped off with fuel if you opt to fly in.
