RARE 1991 Jeep Wrangler Renegade This is a very rare 1991 Jeep Wrangler Renegade in great condition with extremely low miles. It runs and drives excellent and would make the perfect daily driver, weekend warrior or addition to your collection. It has no problem keeping up with traffic on the highway, driving in the mountains and is excellent around town. Jeep only made the YJ Renegade in 1991-1993. There are very few of them in existence and especially with low miles and great condition like this one. It was owned by an elderly couple (both in their 80s) in Aspen who kept in Colorado at their ranch and drove it during the summers leaving it behind during the winter. This is a rare opportunity to own a low mileage, clean and RUST FREE Wrangler YJ. Engine:4.0L High Output 6cylinder motor that starts right up, runs great and is very powerful. After driving it, I don't see any fluids on the pavement. I had the valve cover gasket and exhaust muffler/tailpipe replaced today 5/23/13. The Jeep overall runs great and does not smoke. Transmission:5speed Manual transmission that shifts perfect without any grinding, popping or whining. It is a AX15 model with an incredibly sticky clutch for easy shifting thru the gears. Suspension:Completely stock, drives smooth and tight. No shimmy or vibrations at any speed. Drivetrain:4x4 works perfect and is super tight. Transfer case has 2wd, 4wd high Neutral and 4wd low. It was driven by an older couple who didn't use it for offroading rather driving around town and on their ranch in Aspen, CO. Body:Body overall is in great condition and original. The only significant damage on the Jeep is the passenger side bumper is pushed up and the front fender is cracked and cut at the bottom/bumper height (view photos). There aren't any noticeable dents. The front grill and windshield frame have some sand chips. It also has some scratches and blemishes to be expected for a 22year old Jeep. Paint:Paint is very shiny, reflective and shows lots of luster. The driver side step and rear fender flare clear coat is peeling in places (view pictures). The hood appears to have been repainted as well as the plastic vent below the windshield frame. There are a few scratches and overall nice condition. Hardtop:Factory hardtop with tinted side windows and clear rear window. It has some scratches, a small crack in the back etc. It appears to have been repainted at one point and it looks fantastic. Interior Guages/switches:All lights, gauges, switches work, the front fog lights, headlights etc even the factory cassette radio and speakers. When the door is open it even whines indicating the door is open. Interior lights turn on with the door open. The door windows easily roll up and down. The wing windows shut and lock tight. Interior seats/carpet:Seats are in great condition without any rips or tears. The carpet is in great shape. Tires/Wheels:The tires are an All terrain 235x75x15 with approx 60-70% tread life. The spare tire is the original goodyear wrangler. The wheels are in great condition and factory original 15x8. Overall: This Jeep is beautiful inside and out. It drives fantastic and the suspension compliments the vehicle perfectly as it is tight and super smooth. This is a rear opportunity to purchase a hard to find Jeep wrangler. It gets a lot of attention because it is so unique and so clean. I also have one myself, its a black 91 but it doesn't even compare to how clean this puppy is. This Jeep is beautiful! I myself have a black 1991 Renegade. Both my fender and front Bumper are in Excellent Condition.
