Hello. Up for auction is my garage kept 2009 F800 GS adventure bike. I have had a ball on it, but I just purchased a 2013 Ducati Multistrada and I cannot afford to keep both bikes. The BMW is in great shape and I had the valve clearance check/adjusted just last fall. All recalls which also included a new chain, and a new fuel cell had been implemented. The yellow paint is perfect as you can see in the provided photos. The bike is garaged in Arlington, VA 22205 and has spent most of its life on the road. The only off-roading that I have done is up a gravel driveway or two. No trail work at all. The bike has never been down, ever. The stock seat is basically new as I have a Corbin carbon-fiber fabric touring seat which is very comfortable which I will be selling SEPARATELY. The bike has the optional ABS, Heated Grips, Bar risers, a slightly wider windscreen, a First Gear/Gerbing jack, spare rear inner tube, a true HID low beam headlight, and a factory service manual CD. The tires still have plently of tread left on them. This bike has Never had any issues whatsoever. Smooth running and very gas efficient. The bike's lifetime average is 52 or 54 mpg. I am the original ower and have loved this bike since day one. There is a Vista Cruise control that I have fitted to the bike, but is has a worn cam on it so it really does not work on it now. If you wanted to you would have to install a new one that has been bored to roughly a 1 1/4" diameter. They work much better than the bar-weight style cruise control.
