Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Engine is 2.1 L with 150,258 miles on it. Paint is original and there is no rust inside or out. New muffler, shocks, tires and rims (16”), master cylinder, tinted windows, stereo with SiriusXM radio and regular maintenance with records. The pop up canvas is perfect as are all the curtains and the rear hatch screen. The title is clean and it has never been in a crash. This is an exceptional van that up until a few months ago was driven daily to my job and home (28 mile round trip). The body has a dent on the passenger side rear fender (see picture) and there are some small dings here and there but for a 22 year old vehicle it is in great condition. I have driven it to Maine (five or six times), Michigan, Outer Banks and twice to Niagara Falls without ever having a single problem. Everything works except the cruise control. The AC condenser needs a charge once in a while but I had the entire system flushed and it works as good as it ever did with a full charge. Occasionally the engine will not start when the shifter is in the PARK position. If that happens, I start it in NEURAL. I had my mechanic check it out and he advised to leave it as is if it wasn't causing a problem. As far as I can tell the van was originally purchased in Georgia by a couple from Maryland. I bought it from a VW enthusiast in Quakertown, PA. The van has not been smoked in. If interested please call me at 732-237-5799.
