1938 Chevy 1/2 Ton short box Pick up! I bought this truck with the intention to restore it but I do not have the time to get to it. The video was taken by the previous owner I bought the truck from showing the 216 6 cyl engine running before he set it in this truck. ( the engine is only sitting in the engine compartment and not finished to run.) The fenders are all steel. Some have dents as pics show. The two front fenders had holes cut as pics show where it looked like running lights were going to be installed at one time. The truck has 4 decent tires on it but from sitting, does not roll. It has the tranny, all of the door hardware is there ( doors open and shut the way they should.) the glass has cracks as pictured. The frame has rust and should be replaced. Included in this sale is a good 1938 chevy pick up frame ( as pictured). This truck has a great look and potential but you are buying a unrestored pick up. There is no title with this truck as the previous owner said that he lost it and could not find it. I bought it as a bill of sale only truck and you will be buying it with a bill of sale only. This truck will make a great resto rod or you can bring it back to 100 percent full restoration as an original pick up.
