This truck is a rare garage/barn find. I bought it from a local guy who kept it in his garage for years and would pull it out once a week to drive around the block. He was forced to sell the truch when his hand's ahtritus made it too dificult to turn the steering wheel. I bought it becuase it was too awesome of a find but I really didn't have a need for it. It's been sitting in my garage now and I take it for short drives but really would like to find a better home with someone who has the time and skill to keep this truck on the road. It's in great mechanical shape, the brakes are soft so I'm, sure the master cylinder needs a rebuild. It's been repainted at least once. I can't find any bondo or fiberglass repair on the body, even the lower cab corners are free of bondo...well according to me checking with a magnet. here's a youtube video so you can see more details and hear the engine run. The interior seat has been recovered at some point but the rest of the interior looks much older. Ask me any questions you have, I'm not trying to hide anything with this truck and I can post any pictures of specific details you want. Known Issues: -The doors are hard to open from the outside handles, I typically reach in through the triangle windows to get in. -Sometimes you have to step on the starter a couple times before it turns over and starts. -Starts everytime it turns over. Up-grades include: -turn signals -seatbelts -12 volt negative ground system -brake lights. Somewhere I have the orignal bill-of-sale for the vehivle, it was originally sold in Bel-Air MD, I should have some other original paperwork but there's a chance my ex-wife shredded them when I kicked her out of the house for cheating on me. The truck is an amazing piece of american history. I wish I had the space and time to really provide a good home for the truck. It really is great to drive around getting waves from people.
