1974 Saab Sonnet III project car for sale. Bought this originally to work on, but have run out of parking space so need to move. Car does not run, but engine has turned over and is free and complete. Body (fiberglass) is in good condition with no dents, but it needs a new hood which is a cheap fix. Floors and trunk need to be replaced which is normal for a Sonnet, but the most important peice of the body, the rocker panels, are rust free! Needs a windshield, and a rear passenger vent window. Interior is worn and needs some work. Buy as a project, or for parts. Car has a Missouri title, and it is clean. This car is very rare with only 8,368 built over it's 5 year life span and only 2,500 built in 1974. It has a unique Ford Taunus (German) V4 engine. I have one of these in better condition and I take it to car shows all of the time. It gets more attention than almost any car, and most people get excited just to see a V4. With a little bit of time and effort this car will turn heads all over the place. Car is listed as is, and it will need to be towed as it does not run. It is located in Downers Grove, IL.
